VEEAM Cloud Connect
Veeam Cloud Connect connects to existing Veeam backups in the DARZ data center. The backups are written directly to the defined storage medium via secondary backup jobs and can be restored at any time. The type of use and configuration are always in your hands. The backup data is transferred in compressed and encrypted form. This ensures end-to-end encryption for data security.
You can expect the following advantages from Veeam:
- Restoration of entire virtual machines, including data and application objects
- Fast, agentless object recovery and e-discovery for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Active Directory
- Oracle databases and SQL Server databases are recovered at the transaction level
- No change to network infrastructure required
- Continuous, automated control of recoverability of each backup and replica
- Built-in WAN acceleration for outsourcing backups and replicas to other sites. This is about 50x faster than normal file copying.
